Nigel is a very broadly experienced Electrical Engineer with:
- 20 years’ experience in a very wide variety of manufacturing industries as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a project engineer and a product designer in both the UK and Zimbabwe.
- 15 years’ experience as an Electrician.

modern construction methods
House construction is moving rapidly from a heavy dependence on skilled trades towards factory pre-fabricated modular components. Nigel’s experience in manufacturing and as a skilled tradesman has furnished him with an excellent understanding of how factory and construction site should work together. The extension of his own house was in prefabricated SIPS panels.
'Smart Home' Technologies
The use of ‘Smart Home’ technologies is growing rapidly. Nigel’s experience in electronic engineering means he can quickly grasp the merits of these new technologies and what’s involved installing these.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
Nigel’s Project Management experience includes:
- The complete gutting, alteration, renovation and extension of his own house (UK)
- The construction of farm buildings including grading sheds and housing for managers and workers (Zimbabwe)
- The construction of 6 hectares of greenhouses compete with irrigation systems for growing export roses (Zimbabwe).
- Projects to establish manufacturing plants for vaccine refrigerators, diesel engine assembly and components for modular prefabricated housing kits. (Zimbabwe)
